Profile Setup
Profile setup includes reference data used in individual, company, and travel agent profiles: preferences, VIP levels, loyalty tiers, titles, languages, nationalities, regions, countries, territories, states, districts, cities, postal codes, and inactive reason.
In the PMS, these screens are under Configuration → Profile. What you see depends on user permissions.
Sub-items
| Sub-menu | Purpose |

| Preferences | Guest or profile preferences (e.g. bed type, floor, newspaper). |
| VIP Levels | VIP or loyalty levels for classifying guests. |
| Loyalty Tiers | Loyalty program tiers. |
| Titles | Salutations or titles (e.g. Mr, Ms, Dr). |
| Languages | Languages offered or stored for profiles. |
| Nationalities | Nationalities used in profile and reporting. |
| Regions | Regions (e.g. for address or reporting). |
| Countries | Countries for address and reporting. |
| Territories | Territories within a country, if used. |
| States | States or provinces. |
| Districts | Districts within a state or city, if used. |
| Cities | Cities for address. |
| Postal Codes | Postal or ZIP codes. |
| Inactive Reason | Reasons for marking a profile or rate inactive. |
| Visa Types | Visa type codes for guest travel documents (e.g. Tourist, Business, Transit). |
Typical workflow
- Define Countries (and Regions, Territories, States, Districts, Cities, Postal Codes if your property uses them).
- Define Titles, Languages, Nationalities.
- Define VIP Levels, Preferences, Loyalty Tiers if used.
- Define Inactive Reason if needed for profiles or rates.
From the sidebar, go to Configuration → Profile, then open the sub-item you need.
